  • I'm debating between K9 Play and Stay and a dog daycare service. What is the difference?
K9 Play and Stay provides pick-up and drop-off service. We have not found a dog service in Bucks or Montgomery counties that offers this service to you and your pet. Dog daycares have downtime, which means that your dog is in a crate or smaller space resting for a portion of the day. At K9 Play and Stay there are no crates, artificial turf, concrete slabs, or small fenced-in spaces on the farm. Doggie daycares are typically indoors. Your dog will always be outside on our large farm, unless weather does not permit. The fresh air and sunlight are great for your dog's overall health. We offer an endless amount of space on the farm for your pup to run. A lot of dog daycares pack too many dogs into a limited amount of indoor space resulting in dog fights. The large grass fields on the farm are great for those dogs that are higher energy. Let us know your dog's needs when you set up your account profile.
  • Why do you provide pick-up and drop-off services?
We feel this adds an extra level of convenience and time to your day. It adds up to an additional hour of socialization to your dog's day. It’s just a lot FUN! Be sure to tag us in those Instagram posts of your dog getting into the Dog Bus.
  • How are the dogs transported?
Your pup will travel in a dog bus with their furry friends. The dog bus was designed for your dog's safety and comfort. The bus is a space for your pup to stretch-out, relax, and socialize. The dogs wear either a seatbelt or rest in a crate at all times while in the bus. Let us know how your dog travels best. The bus is cleaned regularly with non-toxic products and the linens are replaced daily.
  • How will I know the exact time my dog will be picked-up and dropped-off?
We will text with a pick-up and drop-off time the evening before the date of service. On the date of service, you will receive multiple texts. We text enroute with a 10- 15 minute ETA. You will receive a text when your dog has been picked-up and a text when your dog has been dropped-off at home.
  • How long will my dog be with the pack?
Your pup will be out of the house 2.5-4 hours. The dogs enjoy 90-minutes of playtime at the farm. Then additional time traveling and socializing in the dog bus. We do our best to ensure that the dogs are in the bus for the same amount of time as each other (i.e. first in, first out). We will shorten the travel time for any dog that is prone to motion sickness or experiences anxiety while driving.
  • Can I choose a pick-up and drop-off time?
When you book you are choosing the date of service and not a time. Should you have a time constraint please contact us. We will make every effort to accommodate a requested pick-up time. Every evening we review the dogs who have booked. Then assign play groups based on the pups play styles and personalities. We text with an approximate pick-up and drop-off time the evening before the date of service. On the date of service, you will receive multiple texts. We text when in route with a 10- 15 minute estimate of arrival. You will receive texts when your dog has been picked-up and dropped-off. Pick-up and drop-off times may vary each day. We appreciate your understanding.
